Golden Lotus Boutique Hotel, Hanoi

The hotel is wonderfully situated, just a quick walk to the lake, and offers clean and nicely decorated rooms at a great rate. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff. The location is excellent, right next to Hoan Kiem Lake, but the dining options could be more diverse. Despite some shortcomings in the rooms, the facilities were enjoyable and well-maintained.

I was quite impressed with the Superior room I booked at a great rate, it had everything I needed and felt brand new. However, the lack of windows and the need to upgrade for a better view was a bit disappointing. The service was helpful and friendly, especially during our late arrival on Christmas Eve. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the old city near all the main attractions. The dining experience offered good variety, but dining at a nearby hotel was even better. Overall, it was a decent stay with some minor room issues.
